A large number of rescues has come into Wellington NZRR. These 31 rats are a group of champagne hooded and berkshire rats aged between 2 days and 12 weeks old. Male and female rats available, though female rats won’t be ready to go to new homes until mid-late September to confirm they are not pregnant. All rats are friendly, though require some more handling to help them come out of their shells.
If you can offer a home to some of these rats please get in touch.
The list of rats available from this rescue is.
7x babies born around 12/8/11 .. two males and 5 females it looks liek at this stage, one hooded of each gender, all others are berkshires.
The babies Mum, (Molly) she is currently pregnant and due any time nowish, so wont be ready for a home for at least 5 weeks, probably more like 6-7 weeks. Molly is a Chamagne Berkshire.
Lonely, sister to Molly, she was the only rat in this surrender who was housed alone, she was very thin and depressed, she perked up almost immediatly with the help of her new friend. Mama. These two really should be homed together.
